Delete your Lingvalla account

In the app

1. Open Lingvalla and sign in.
2. Tap your profile (the person icon, top right).
3. Choose Delete account and confirm with your password.

The same works in the browser at app.lingvalla.com.

By email

If you can't sign in, email brian@lingvalla.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Lingvalla account". We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Everything linked to your account: your email and name, profile, languages and level, stories, word hoard, training history, goals, workouts, voyages and GPS routes, and sign-in sessions. It is erased from our live systems straight away and from our backups within 14 days.

What is kept

• Story narration audio, which is stored by sentence text and contains no account information.
• Payment and subscription records held by Google Play or the App Store, under their own policies.

Your subscription

Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or on your iPhone (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
